Super Commuter Jeanne Robinson
It’s not the miles, it’s the mode
Jeanne works in the facilities office at HQ. She lives 15 miles from Olympia and takes Mason Transit from the Kamilche park and ride lot every day.
She often has meetings at ELG office in Tumwater and from either location, she can jump on the Intercity Transit bus for a quick trip to the downtown Olympia transit station. From there she meets Mason Transit for a relaxing bus ride to her car.
She has 1700 reasons ($DOLLARS$) for loving her commute!
That is the amount Jeanne estimates she saves a year when she adds up the cost of:
- Gas
- Maintenance
- Parking
AND – the relaxing ride home, meeting new friends and getting a little exercise is PRICELESS!
